Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as 

Associate Research Analyst.

Compensation:

USD 10 - 17/hour.

Location:

Remote (anywhere).

What makes you a strong candidate:

  • You are proficient in BI (Business intelligence), data analysis, SQL, and Tableau.
  • English - Native or fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:

  • Deliver exceptional service to support relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze and report survey results, summarizing key findings and insights relevant to client needs.
  • Perform data cleaning and processing, collaborating with analysts to organize and prepare data for analysis.
  • Create reports incorporating written summaries and data visualizations based on online survey results.
  • Internal teams with research-related requests, including data points for reports, webinars, and marketing collateral.
  • Support the survey design and execution process under the guidance of senior Research Analysts.
  • Work with large, complex data sets to identify key insights and actionable takeaways.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment, fostering a cooperative and results-driven approach.
  • Follow management direction professionally and respectfully.
  • Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with large, complex data sets and conducting in-depth research analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred proficiency in SQL, SPSS, and other data management and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), essential for interacting with customers and coworkers.
  • Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to effectively interpret, analyze, and manipulate numerical data.
  • Quick adaptability to new software, with expertise in databases, spreadsheets, report writing, project management, word processing, and presentation tools.
  • Ability to interpret data insights to drive informed business decisions for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions effectively.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field. Courses or formal training in marketing research or quantitative research preferred.
