Day Translations is a global translation and interpreting company. We help improve worldwide communication through accurate, localized translations, interpretation and outsourcing services, and a wide variety of tailored language solutions for individuals, organizations, and businesses of all sizes. We are currently in search of our next Business Development Representative.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM ET, with a 30-minute break

Job Description

Day Translations is looking for an energetic, focused, and self-directed business development representative that can prospect and qualify new sales leads for our various language services and our Day Interpreting Application. At Day Translations we are not just focused on selling but creating new and long-term business relationships with our prospects and clients. We are looking for closers who also pride themselves on their integrity and work ethic.

  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedules.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
  • Reach out to customer leads through daily cold calling.
  • Develop and deliver presentations of our services and products.
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline and strong ongoing relationships with prospects.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a BDR of digital services - language services experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM software to generate leads and analyze the statistics of sales and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong decision-making, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C2 or C1 level) and fluency in a foreign language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with benefits such as
