We're looking for a paid
media specialist who can drive impactful advertising campaigns,
experiment boldly, and help us showcase Ahrefs industry-leading tools to
the world.
As a Paid Media Specialist at Ahrefs, you’ll orchestrate data-driven
advertising campaigns that deliver measurable results. You’ll be
hands-on with ad platforms, conduct A/B tests, analyse performance
metrics, and drive campaign optimisation. With a deep understanding of
SaaS marketing, you’ll craft strategies that resonate with our target
audiences. Bonus if you bring creative flair and can craft compelling
narratives about Ahrefs' tools and features.
This role would suit someone who is a technical expert in the
intricacies of ad platforms and campaign orchestration, with a proven
ability to set up, optimise, and analyse high-performing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:
- Strategise, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Develop sophisticated targeting and segmentation strategies to maximise ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to refine audience targeting, ad creatives, and messaging.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Build detailed reports on key KPIs and recommend improvements based on findings.
- Use data to validate strategies and forecast outcomes for upcoming campaigns.

Messaging & Copywriting:
- Write compelling, conversion-focused ad copy and headlines.

Strategy Development:
- Identify and capitalise on emerging trends and opportunities in digital advertising.
- Align advertising strategies with Ahrefs' overall marketing goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a performance marketing role, preferably within a SaaS company.
- Strong technical skills in ad platforms, audience targeting, tracking, and optimization.
- Proficiency in A/B testing, campaign setup, and advanced analytics.
- Exceptional copywriting and messaging skills with a knack for storytelling and packaging complex ideas.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and allocate resources for maximum impact.
- Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and the unique challenges of marketing SaaS products.
- Strong English communication skills and attention to detail.
