Product Business Analyst Senior
Overview:
We are a leading mortgage servicing, SaaS-based, financial technology company that thrives on innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our dynamic Product Management team in the role of Product Business Analyst. This position offers a unique opportunity for candidates to play a crucial role in building and maintaining a balanced product/solution portfolio.
Your day-to-day at Sagent:
Business Analysis and Research:
- Conduct
in-depth research and data analysis of the business landscape, ensuring
a comprehensive understanding of complex business requirements.
- Utilize
a strong theoretical knowledge base to autonomously achieve project
goals, contributing significantly to the enhancement of our products and
services.
Functional Expertise and Leadership:
- Exhibit specific functional expertise, acquired through formal education and extensive work experience.
- Provide guidance to others as a Lead or individual contributor project manager, demonstrating leadership and technical prowess.
Product Design and Enhancement:
- Identify
strategic steps to improve business outcomes for our products and
services, leading the design of new features for seamless
implementation.
- Champion the creation and design of innovative features, actively contributing to the evolution of our product portfolio.
Impact Analysis and Decision Support:
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of implementing new features, offering critical insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and assess business opportunities, making informed recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate
effectively with leadership at all levels and across departments,
fostering cross-functional cooperation and communication.
- Work seamlessly with all levels of leadership to ensure alignment of product strategies with broader organizational goals.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Completion
of four years of college in a relevant discipline and four years of
experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a
degree.
- Proven experience in business systems analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in evaluating new applications and identifying systems requirements.
- Proficiency in impact analysis, ensuring alignment of new features with strategic business objectives.
- Experience with IT developments and business requirements.
- Ability to act as an effective liaison between IT and business units.
- Planning, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, organizational analysis, and interface analysis skills.
- Experience with user experience principles.
- Track record of driving the design and implementation of new features to enhance product functionality.
- Expertise in impact analysis, ensuring alignment of new features with strategic business objectives.
Additional Skills/Technical Knowledge Preferred:
- Experience at a mortgage servicer and/or financial technology.
- Ability
to demonstrate knowledge in one or more mortgage servicing domains
including but not limited to: general Mortgage Servicing, Compliance,
Legal, Escrow, Cash, Delinquency, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy,
Foreclosure, REO, Loss Analysis, Claims & Servicing Transfers.
- Knowledge
of a mortgage servicer’s typical technology ecosystem including
servicing systems, default systems, workflow management, document
repositories, ancillary systems, vendor integrations, data integrations,
data warehouses and more.
