Job Overview:
As a production manager at AMG you
will play a critical role in the effective planning, execution and
oversight of live event productions for a variety of formats and
clients.
Your primary responsibilities will be
to assist in the scoping of production based projects, plan technical
needs, collaborate interdepartmentally, consult on creative direction,
create show builds, manage external contractors, and execute on high
complexity productions with confidence and accuracy.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and oversee multiple productions while maintaining a thorough understanding of all ongoing projects.
- Oversee and execute all aspects of a
broadcast show, including but not limited to show calling, switching,
broadcasting, and event coordination, working closely with direct
reports, clients, and colleagues.
- Oversee production of show related assets. Define graphic, video, media, and general show needs requests.
- Review items to ensure they meet internal and client brand standards.
- Investigate, propose, and implement new broadcast technology improving the viewer experience.
- Anticipate and identify potential production risks and challenges, developing contingency plans to mitigate issues.
- Assist with the selection of
production crew and ensure operational staffing needs are met. Manage
the broadcast communication for a pool of freelancers and assist with
crew management.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Production.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
3+ years of working experience as a Producer, Production Manager, or
similar role with project oversight, preferably in the influencer
marketing, gaming, or event space.
- STRONG PREFERENCE: Experience working with vMix based workflows in both physical and virtual environments.

- Expert in streaming and
video-on-demand platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok,
and X as well as software solutions to facilitate streaming.
- Experience in conceptualizing
graphics, scripts, run-of-show documents, videos, talking points,
storyboards, and other materials to support broadcasts.
- Strong working knowledge of the cloud-based G-Suite software.
- A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically while in high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
- BONUS: Experience producing while managing broadcast teams in a remote environment.
- BONUS: Experience or proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and/or Premiere.
