We're VOID Interactive, the kickass team behind the best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not. We're made up of some seriously talented individuals who love games and creating awesome content together. We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Release/Launch Manager to join us remotely and help us elevate Ready or Not to new heights. Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time.  

As our Release/Launch Manager, you'll be in charge of ensuring smooth, timely and high-quality game releases. Working hand-in-hand with producers, developers, QA teams and marketing, you'll orchestrate every detail of our release pipeline. In this role, you'll be in charge of:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scope and scheduling for game updates and major releases.
  • Development of detailed, actionable release plans, ensuring all stakeholders understand deliverables, timelines and dependencies
  • Identification of potential bottlenecks of pitfalls early and work with the teams to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Coordination with QA to ensure thorough testing, triage and resolution of issues before any updates
  • Maintaining a high-quality bar for all releases, championing best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Manage end-to-end release process, including preparing release documentation, final approvals and live deployment
  • Conduct post-launch reviews, gathering feedback to refine our processes and boost future launches.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in release management, or a similar role within the gaming industry.
  • AAA experience - at least one shipped title (bonus points if you've managed global releases!).
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, game development pipelines and best practices for launch readiness.
  • Exceptional communication skills, being able to ensure that all teams are aligned and aware of the project goals.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated success working remotely.
