POSITION OVERVIEW
We
are looking for a programmatic advertising expert to join our team as a
Sales Engineer/Solutions Engineer/Solutions Architect/Solutions
Consultant. You will design custom client solutions by leveraging
Chalice's ML algorithms and technology stack to solve complex
advertising challenges.
The ideal
candidate will combine deep knowledge of programmatic advertising with
the ability to understand and apply our platform's capabilities to meet
specific client objectives. Expert knowledge of DSPs (particularly DV360
and The Trade Desk), identity resolution solutions, and programmatic
best practices is essential for success in this role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Design
- Master Chalice's technology stack, ML algorithms, and platform capabilities
- Design technical solutions that leverage our ML algorithms to meet client business objectives
- Identify opportunities to apply our technology to solve client challenges
- Create solution architectures that optimize the use of Chalice's capabilities
- Map client requirements to specific platform features and algorithms
Technical Consulting
- Guide clients in implementing solutions built on Chalice's technology stack
- Provide advanced platform support for DSP and SSP implementations
- Support technical discovery and solution validation
- Troubleshoot complex programmatic issues
- Create technical specifications and implementation guides
Business Impact
- Translate Chalice's technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes
- Track and report on solution effectiveness and ML algorithm performance
- Identify opportunities to scale successful implementations
- Contribute to product roadmap through market and implementation insights
- Communicate the value of our ML algorithms and technical solutions to clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with programmatic advertising platforms
- Expert-level knowledge of DV360 and The Trade Desk platforms
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem across mobile and web
- Knowledge of ML applications in advertising technology
- Experience with technical solution design and implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex ML concepts clearly
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Preferred
- Basic scripting skills (SQL, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with SSP curation platforms (Xandr Curate, Index Exchange)
- Background in technical sales or solutions engineering
- Experience writing technical specifications and requirements documentation
- Knowledge of ad verification tools and measurement solutions
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Understanding of algorithmic optimization techniques
